The club offers sailing to a wide range of abilities and welcomes new members.

If you are new to sailing or want to get back into the sport after some years away we provide RYA courses to get you started or improve your skills. In addition there are regular Saturday Clubs where informal tuition and guidance is available free of charge. Find out more at 'Start sailing with CMYC'

To more experienced sailors we offer an extensive racing programme on our own Hedgecourt Lake and at the coast. For those seeking a more relaxed form of sailing there are organised cruising events mainly in Chichester Harbour and the Solent. Alternatively if you just want to ‘potter’ on your own that’s fine; Hedgecourt Lake and the clubhouse are accessible to members 365 days a year between dawn and dusk. There is provision for parking of members’ craft at Hedgecourt.

The club has a strong junior or cadet section with its Junior Saturday Club meeting once a month during the season to provide a mixture of instruction and fun with the club’s fleet of Toppers and Optibats. Youngsters can join the club as part of a Family membership or on their own.

There is a programme of social activities for the whole family and we hold Dry Meetings each month to which guest speakers are invited.

Subscriptions 2013

All subscriptions are due for renewal on 1st January 2013.

To qualify for Senior Membership the member must be over  
age 65 males and 65 females.

Note; There is a requirement for adult members to perform at least two duties per year, CMYC have no paid staff.
