Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to get back into the sport\, come and visit Crawley Mariners Yacht Club (CMYC) for our annual Open Day!  \nWe are a friendly\, volunteer-run club dedicated to making sailing affordable and accessible to everyone. Our Open Day is the perfect\, no-obligation opportunity to experience our passion for the sport and see what we have to offer.  \n\nWhat to Expect\n\nFree Trial Sails: Guests of all ages can get out on the water for a short trip with one of our experienced helms. \nExplore the Club: Take a guided tour of our facilities at Hedgecourt Lake and meet our helpful members.\nShowcase Stands: Learn about our full range of activities\, including:\n\nTraining: RYA-recognized courses for adults and juniors. \nRacing & Cruising: Opportunities at the lake and the coast. \nMore than Sailing: Discover our groups for Kayaking\, Paddle Boarding\, and Open Water Swimming. \n\n\nJunior Sailing: See our “Saturday Club” boats\, including Oppies and Toppers\, and learn about our dedicated youth programs. \nHospitality: Enjoy refreshments from our galley and relax in our clubhouse. \n\n\nPlan Your Visit\n\nWhen: Sunday\, 10th May\, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. \nWhere: Hedgecourt Lake (Look for our roadside signs and yellow feather flags!). \nWhat to Bring: Just yourself! We provide the buoyancy aids. \nHow it Works: On arrival\, please head to the Welcome Desk to sign in. You’ll receive a raffle ticket to determine your turn for a trial sail. \n\nOptionally RSVP below to let us know you’re coming to give us an idea of numbers\, but you can turn up on the day without booking! \nWhy Join CMYC?\nWe pride ourselves on being a “self-help” club where members support each other.
