Natural World Team 

We acknowledge that without our help the Lake will eventually become marsh and dry out (refer to Natural England’s report). To counter this the CMYC Natural World Team are keen to collate their knowledge to return the 500-year-old lake to its pre-1950’s state initially by creating awareness of what wildlife exists there.

This is the result of that initial fact finding ambition: (started May 2026).
