Are you curious about getting on the water? Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to get back into the sport, come and visit Crawley Mariners Yacht Club (CMYC) for our annual Open Day!

We are a friendly, volunteer-run club dedicated to making sailing affordable and accessible to everyone. Our Open Day is the perfect, no-obligation opportunity to experience our passion for the sport and see what we have to offer.

What to Expect

  • Free Trial Sails: Guests of all ages can get out on the water for a short trip with one of our experienced helms.
  • Explore the Club: Take a guided tour of our facilities at Hedgecourt Lake and meet our helpful members.
  • Showcase Stands: Learn about our full range of activities, including:
    • Training: RYA-recognized courses for adults and juniors.
    • Racing & Cruising: Opportunities at the lake and the coast.
    • More than Sailing: Discover our groups for Kayaking, Paddle Boarding, and Open Water Swimming.
  • Junior Sailing: See our “Saturday Club” boats, including Oppies and Toppers, and learn about our dedicated youth programs.
  • Hospitality: Enjoy refreshments from our galley and relax in our clubhouse.
