Open Day on Sunday 5th May 2024

Crawley Mariners is opening its doors at Hedgecourt Lake to the public on Sunday 5th May from 10am until 4pm. We would love to show you around our lakeside site, tell you about the variety of activities that take place at the club and give you the opportunity to try dinghy sailing with an experienced sailing member at the helm of one of our larger dinghies.

The minimum age for sailing is six years and over and we would recommend you wear old trainers and a wind-proof and shower-proof top as it can be quite chilly out on the lake. We supply a suitable buoyancy aid which must be worn on the shoreline, jetties and in the boats. Light refreshments – cash donations welcome ­ – and toilet facilities will be available. The car park is a two-minute walk behind the clubhouse, please follow the signs from the A264 Copthorne Road.
